Changing email address and other user account related data

We frequently get requests from people who have locked themselves out of their account, have forgotten which email they have signed up with, or have taken ownership of a website using our products but without the access they need to get into their account at

The security of Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.

For this security reason, under no circumstances will we share personal information on an account or grant access to a user claiming to have lost their email address.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, then we can propose the following actions:

  1. Try to get in touch with the person who set up the account / purchased the subscription / license key for you. Please note, we cannot disclose any information about the person.
  2. Use the license until it expires, and then purchase a new license setting up your own account.
  3. Purchase a new license and set up your own account now.

When it comes to purchasing a subscription, we recommend purchasing it under your own name and giving your developer the license key for the site. This way, you'll retain control of your own account for managing billing information and accessing support services, and you won't lose access to your subscriptions should you decide to switch developers. How to change account data

If you have access to your account, then you can change the following details in your account:

Change email address, first and last name, password, VAT number

Access, prolong, or upgrade your license keys

Turn automatic subscription renewal on and off

Add or remove a new payment method

Please note, you can only remove a payment method, if the automatic renewal for all associated subscriptions is turned off. You can do this on the License Keys page.

Change a payment method for a specific subscription

  • My Account > Subscriptions > Choose the appropriate subscription > Change Payment

Manually renew a subscription

  • My Account > Subscriptions > Choose the appropriate subscription > Renew now

Note, if you renew a subscription that is not yet expired, a full year will be added to your subscription period from the time of expiry.
